Raylan Givens Vanilla Ice Cream And ladies

FX's hit series Justified features among the coolest lawmen to ever grace the little screen. Timothy Olyphant brings a charismatic charm to his character, Raylan Givens, which can be hard for almost any woman to resist. His soft voice through an edge of steel, his sleepy bedroom eyes, his panther like walk and this little boy, oh I've been bad, smile. It is enough to create any woman swoon.
Raylan is not only a ladies man, however, they have plenty of traits that fascinate the men. He has a rapid draw that rivals a cheap west gunslinger. When he tells "Take a different step and I'm gonna shoot you" he means it. He has a wicked way with one liners that amuse the not so good guys until finally the end. "Outlaw own life is hard ain't it" when he smashes a head into the tire of a car. All in all he's an all around awesome guy.
Raylan has two weaknesses - Vanilla frozen goodies and women. Both have gotten him into trouble at once or another. He once lost a fugitive while stepping next door to consume a dish of vanilla soft ice cream.
But his main weakness and a lot troubled area is women. During the course from the series, were introduced to some of the women in Raylan's life.
The main woman in Raylan's every day life is his ex-wife Winona. Raylan said in the first time he met Winona, (Natalie Zea) he researched to see the most wonderful woman he'd ever seen in their life. Winona and Raylan were married for six years. During their marriage, Raylan taught shooting classes in Glencoe. Winona soon discovered Raylan stood a very acute anger management issue, which affected their marriage. She later tells Raylan they are the angriest man this lady has ever known.
When Raylan is a member of Miami, Winona stays behind to trade thier house and eventually ends up having an affair with all the realtor, Gary Hawkins. She and Raylan divorce and he or she marries Gary. However, Raylan is still equipped with deep feelings for Winona and once they both end up back in Kentucky, old desires reignite.
Winona pertains to Raylan's room one night, will be taking off her arena and thus begins their affair. Their reunion is bittersweet and passionate, but we can easily see it is doomed to failure. Winona still are unable to overcome her fear that Raylan go to work one morning and do not return. She wants Raylan to relinquish the Marshal service.
Even though Raylan loves Winona they may never have a prosperous relationship. Winona doesn't appear to understand that like a marshal is not merely what Raylan should it is who he's. It is the culmination of any bad childhood spent that has a criminal father, who had been abusive. Becoming a marshal is Raylan's method of righting exactly what was wrong within his youth. It is his ultimate rebellion and rejection of his father. So it is no real shock when Winona leaves Raylan after he chooses his job over her pleas for him to remain out of your dangerous situation. The situation is made a whole lot worse by the fact that Winona is currently expecting their baby.
Raylan's go back to Kentucky brought him face to face which has a woman from his childhood, Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter). Raylan goes trying to find his old friend, Boyd Crowder, who's got taken up exploding black churches within the name of white supremacy, and finds himself on Ava's front porch. Ava is a lot more than glad setting eyes on Raylan again. She reveals that she were built with a big crush on him from senior high school. Ava even plants a major kiss on him.
Raylan is fascinated by Ava while she is strictly not allowed, like a material witness against Boyd. Despite his boss warning him to never sleep together with her, Raylan give in to the passion he feels on her and they land in bed together.
Raylan and Ava's relationship is temporary. Raylan appears to realize that he's made a mistake by permitting involved with Ava. He also can see she is much more invested within the relationship than he can ever be.
It is bittersweet when he breaks it well with Ava. She is heart broken. She tells him she thought it was fate that brought him to her front porch and she or he felt like she was finding a second chance. Raylan are able to do nothing but shake his head.
Although Raylan and Ava broke off their relationship early within the series, there's still an attraction together. Ava has bitter feelings toward Raylan and Raylan still appears to have a protective urge towards Ava. Their paths keep crossing as they often be racing toward an ending which is to be both tragic and final first of them.
Raylan repeats his bad choices in ladies when he shacks up with bartender, Lindsey (Jenn Lyon). Raylan lives across the bar and can serve as bouncer when he check here could be off duty. He strikes up a friendship with Lindsey, who tends bar that quickly gets a sexual relationship. Lindsey is a con artist who steals the funds Raylan has saved to aid Winona with baby expenses. She will be taking off with her ex boyfriend that has just been released from prison.
Raylan tracks them down only to find the cash is gone. While he ultimately ends up with Lindsey's ex in handcuffs she seems to walk away.
Thus has went Raylan's love life from the four seasons of Justified. He has were built with a few brief flirtations. One which has a coal mining executive and one that has a young poker player. But unlike the love triangle he's had with Winona and Ava.
Somehow we realize that Raylan could keep making bad choices when it involves women. We can only enjoy meeting the next that will lead him on the path to new trouble. Perhaps he'll almost certainly be going for a nice dish of vanilla frozen treats when he meets her. Tune in next season to learn.
